The design journey for The Wish Pixies starts in Dainy's studio, in a small coastal town in Victoria, Australia.

She first sketches ideas into her 'book of fairytales', inspired by her favourite memories of childhood. The chosen designs then become printed artworks on fabric, wood or paper.

Now added to the creative process is the writing of stories (or 'Pixietales') for each Pixie character, which tells of their journey to overcome their challenge and find their magical superpower.
