The name is inspired by the phrase ‘Hakuna Matata’ which is originally of Swahili origin, and was made famous by it’s use in The Lion King™ movie; it means ‘no worries’ or ‘no troubles’. Therefore the philosophy of the brand is fundamentally to communicate to young children that everything is ok, just be yourself, no worries.
Haku is the name of our giraffe character, and Yoka is our Panda - they are best friends and help and support each other to overcome lots of adventures and situations
